Hello
I am a registered Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and a member of both the Irish Institute of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in the UK.
I have worked in Ireland since 2001, holding a variety of roles with the HSE, including senior registrar and locum consultant positions. I have also worked in the UK and Abu Dhabi, UAE, giving me almost 30 years of experience across obstetrics and gynaecology.
My Story
Throughout my career, I have been involved in research and presentations within my field, as well as patient safety evaluations and clinical audits. My home was Iraq, when I left for Ireland in 1995!
I am a medical doctor with qualifications including MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery), DOWH (Diploma in Obstetrics and Women’s Health, Ireland), MRCOG (Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists) and MRCPI (Member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland). These qualifications reflect extensive medical training and specialist expertise in women’s health, obstetrics and gynaecology.
I hold full registration with the Irish Medical Council, Registration No. 46971, and the UK General Medical Council, Registration No. 6109792.
